Story
I learned to play soccer with my friends when I was a child. As I grew older, I continued playing in different tournaments. When I moved to the United States, I kept enjoying this beautiful sport by playing in leagues in New York.
Later, when I moved to the Hudson Valley, I met what would become my final team, Geordies. This is the team I have been playing with for more than 20 years and the team I hope to continue playing with as long as my body allows me. Through this team, I found not only teammates but true friends. Our time together goes beyond the soccer field. We meet at events, reunions, and spend time together with our families.
After participating in many soccer leagues over the years, I decided to create a league of my own. My hope is to welcome anyone who loves the game and wants to be part of a community where friendships grow and beautiful memories are created for many years to come.
Family and Friends Soccer League was founded in 2026, inspired by a shared love for the game and the desire to create a space where community, relationships, and teamwork grow naturally through soccer.

Aprendí a jugar fútbol con mis amigos desde que era niño. Con el paso de los años continué participando en diferentes torneos y cuando me mudé a los Estados Unidos seguí disfrutando de este hermoso deporte jugando en ligas en Nueva York.
Más adelante, cuando me mudé al Hudson Valley, conocí lo que se convertiría en mi último equipo, Geordies. Este es el equipo con el que he jugado por más de 20 años y con el que espero seguir jugando mientras mi cuerpo me lo permita. En este equipo no solo encontré compañeros de juego, sino también verdaderos amigos. Nuestro tiempo juntos va más allá del fútbol. También nos reunimos en eventos, celebraciones y compartimos tiempo con nuestras familias.
Después de participar en muchas ligas de fútbol a lo largo de los años, decidí crear mi propia liga. Mi deseo es dar la bienvenida a cualquier persona que ame este deporte y quiera ser parte de una comunidad donde nacen amistades y se crean hermosos recuerdos para los años que vienen.
Family and Friends Soccer League fue fundada en el 2026, inspirada por el amor al fútbol y el deseo de crear un espacio donde la comunidad, las relaciones y el trabajo en equipo crezcan naturalmente a través del deporte.
